Explore Kanab Day

Today there were no official tours scheduled for today.  Instead the day was set aside to explore the town of Kanab.  The town has a lot of small shops and a significant history in the movie industry as  lots of western movies and TV shows were filmed in the area.  As a result, one of the events planned for today was a 2.5 hour tour of the many film locations and sets used.  Don and Lornie went on that tour.
It was also a good day to do a little maintenance on the Model A's, but for the Linden's we started the day off by going to the laundromat, something that needed to be done.  I then did some cleaning and checking the Model A.  Bruce and Trish explored the town of Kanab, while Lou & Rose and family went to Coral Pink Sands Park.
A lunch for the tour participants was planned in the local park and many of us signed up.  It was here that we got to catch up with Joop & Marlies.  We also got to spend time with Mark & Heather Smith, the Libbeys, an other members of the Worcester club (the Costellos, Lacantos & Pelleys) and the Ladds from the NH Lakes Region.
Later that afternoon there were two seminars scheduled,  a Quilt seminar and an On the Road Repairs and how to get Model A parts at the local auto parts store seminar.  It was well done and I learned a few good nuggets of information.
Dinner was on your own and back at the hotel we watched the parade of Model A's traveling down the road.
Tomorrow we will head to Zion NP and we have been alerted that this park fills up quickly, so we plan to get an early start for the 45 mile journey.
